First: the hardcovers ARE coming!
I'm sad to say I still don't have an accurate ship date. I have been struggling with the new printer, the printer I went to to get away from the low quality printer, the printer I thought was going to be the savior of the project.
I won't name the company (honestly though, if you private message me it won't take much to get it out of me), but I have been calling, emailing, and social media messaging them DAILY for over two weeks for a status and for the opportunity to expedite shipping on at least 100 copies so I can get them to YOU, my backer. Not one answer, not one reply, no apology, nothing.
I have been hesitant to post an update without a confirmed ship date like I promised, but a fellow creator and friend of mine gave me some good advice, so here I am sharing my struggle with you all. It's important that you know your money has been put to good use: the project has been completed (see: digital copy) and I even sent non-hardcover rewards to domestic backers at my own expense to try to make up for the delays. I will continue to barrage the printing company with my emails, calls and social messaging daily. I have reached out to a dozen other creators I know, some of whom are in the same boat (WITH THE SAME PRINTER!). Just know that I am also anxiously awaiting my copies, and I honestly can't WAIT to ship them to you, to ship them to stores, and to start advertising!
Sorry for the long post, I hope you all are still with me, and I hope you all enjoy the book when it's finally in your hands!

Hey Jaded backers!
Most of the non-Hardcover rewards have been shipped! If you haven’t received your non-Hardcover rewards yet, check to see if you fall into one of the following categories:
-international backer (i sincerely apologize, but the international shipping rates are just too high for me to cover out of pocket. But never fear! This just means all your rewards will arrive at the same time!)
- personal friend or family [I’m either literally waiting until I see you to hand you your rewards, or I’m waiting to pack something extra special I’ve cooked up for ya to slip into the package ;) ]
-extra large rewards (like original art, these are being carefully packed to ship separately)
If you don’t fall into one of these categories and you are waiting on NON-HARDCOVER rewards, please message me and i will reach back out to you ASAP to fix the issue!
